01 Nature of Service

We Are an Information Service — Not a Financial or Legal One

This platform provides blockchain transaction tracing and analytical report generation. It is an information product. Nothing produced or communicated by this platform constitutes financial advice, legal advice, investment advice, or a guarantee of any specific outcome.

Our service reads publicly available on-chain data and presents it in a structured, accessible format. The findings in a trace report reflect what the blockchain record shows — nothing more, and nothing less. Our reports are designed to inform your decisions, not to make decisions on your behalf.

Use of this service does not create a solicitor-client relationship, a financial adviser relationship, or any professional relationship that carries regulated duties of care. For regulated professional advice — legal, financial, or otherwise — you should engage the appropriate licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

02 Pricing & Transparency

Our Pricing — Stated Plainly

This service is paid. We charge for trace reports across three tiers based on depth of analysis and report features. Every price is fixed, visible before you commit, and carries no hidden costs, upsell charges, or surprise fees of any kind. What you see is exactly what you pay.

Our pricing pledge — in plain terms:

The price shown at checkout is the total price. There are no processing surcharges, no "unlock" fees after delivery, no subscription traps, no future billing unless you explicitly initiate a new service. Every tier is a one-time, fixed-price transaction. If your case requires additional scope beyond what you selected, we will quote separately in writing before proceeding — never add costs retrospectively.

03 No Recovery Guarantee
This service does not guarantee the recovery of lost or stolen cryptocurrency under any circumstances.

Our service provides tracing intelligence and documentation. It does not — and cannot — reverse blockchain transactions, compel exchanges to return funds, or guarantee any financial outcome whatsoever.

You are paying for analytical work — the tracing of on-chain data and the production of a structured report. The value of that work lies in the information it provides and the actions it enables. Recovery, where it occurs, results from those actions — typically through law enforcement, legal process, or exchange cooperation — not from the report itself.

The fee you pay is for the service of analysis and reporting. It is not refunded if funds are not recovered, because the analysis and report will have been delivered regardless of the external outcome. This is no different from paying a solicitor for legal advice that does not ultimately produce the outcome sought — the professional service was rendered.

If there is any question about whether this service is suitable for your situation before you pay, please contact us first. We will not take your money if the trace is unlikely to produce anything useful.

04 Data & Accuracy

What Our Reports Are Based On — and Their Limits

All trace reports are based entirely on publicly available blockchain data. We do not fabricate, infer beyond the evidence, or speculate. What we report is what the on-chain record shows.

Source of data

Public blockchain networks (Ethereum, Bitcoin, BNB Chain, Tron, Polygon, and others). This data is openly accessible to anyone. We read, structure, and interpret it — we do not create or alter it.

Entity identification

Where our reports identify a wallet as belonging to a known exchange or entity (e.g., "Binance Hot Wallet"), this is based on publicly available exchange address databases. These are accurate to the best of our knowledge but may not reflect 100% of exchange addresses in all circumstances. New or unlabelled addresses may not be identified.

Completeness of trace

We trace to the furthest point the on-chain record supports. Where funds pass through a mixer, cross-chain bridge, or privacy coin network, the trace may terminate at that point. This is not a limitation of our service — it is a limitation of what the public blockchain record makes visible.

Timeliness

Blockchain data is real-time by nature. However, our entity databases are updated periodically. There may be a lag between a new exchange address entering use and its inclusion in our identification database. We cannot guarantee identification of newly activated exchange deposit addresses.

Not forensic expert evidence

Our reports are analytical documents for informational use. They are not certified forensic reports and have not been produced by a court-appointed expert. For proceedings requiring expert witness testimony or formal forensic evidence, engage a certified blockchain forensics professional.

05 Limitation of Liability

What We Are and Are Not Responsible For

These limitations exist because the nature of our service — reading and interpreting public data — does not give us control over outcomes that depend on third parties, legal systems, or the behaviour of external entities.

Recovery outcomes

We are not liable for failure to recover funds. Our service delivers trace analysis — recovery depends on law enforcement, legal action, and exchange cooperation, none of which we control.

Decisions made based on reports

Decisions made by users in response to report findings are entirely their own. We provide information and guidance — not instructions. We are not liable for the outcomes of those decisions.

Third-party actions

We are not liable for the actions or inactions of exchanges, law enforcement bodies, legal professionals, or any other third party to whom users present our reports.

Unidentified addresses

We are not liable where a wallet address in the trace chain is unidentified in our entity database. We make reasonable efforts to maintain an accurate and current label database.

Platform unavailability

We are not liable for service interruptions, delivery delays caused by factors outside our control, or temporary unavailability of blockchain network data from third-party sources.

Consequential or indirect losses

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive losses arising from use of this service.

In all cases, our total aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

06 Scam Warning

Impersonation & Second-Scam Risk

People who have lost cryptocurrency are frequently targeted by a second fraudulent approach. This often takes the form of someone impersonating a legitimate service — including this one — and offering recovery for upfront payment.

We will never contact you unsolicited

We do not make outbound contact via Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter/X, or any social media platform to offer our services. If someone contacts you claiming to be us and offering help, they are not us.

Our charges are always stated upfront, in full

All charges are displayed transparently before any commitment is made. We never request additional payment after a report is commissioned unless new scope is agreed in writing first.

We never ask for crypto payments to "unlock" funds

Any service asking you to send cryptocurrency to release, recover, or verify your funds is a scam without exception. Our charges are paid through conventional payment methods — not crypto.

We never ask for seed phrases or private keys

Under no circumstances will any representative of this platform request your wallet seed phrase, private key, or exchange password. Anyone doing so — regardless of claimed affiliation — is attempting theft.

If you encounter someone impersonating this platform, report it to us at legal@chaintracelabs.com and independently to your national cybercrime reporting body.
